Oprius is a full featured, hosted, marketing system based on contact management. It is a contact manager, email marketing, and sales funnel manager all-in-one. It is particularly suited to network marketers and small business owners.

One of the greatest benefits of Oprius is its simplicity and ease of use. If your business is mid sized and needs robust data management, I recommend the next step up, Infusionsoft. But for most micro businesses and solo entrepreneurs, Oprius has everything you need with no bloat. You'll find it easy to use, easy to understand, and so well thought out that the system itself will give you ideas on how to improve your marketing!

Oprius Capabilities

Oprius is a full featured business contact manager that is simple enough for small businesses but feature rich enough to build your marketing plan.

Oprius uses 7 modules:

* Contact Manager

* Relationship Builder

* Phone Assistant

* Email Marketing

* Task List

* Calendar

These 7 modules are completely integrated from lead to customer to repeat buyer. The power of this system is extraordinary.

For example, you can create an autoresponder opt-in form and capture a new lead email address. This lead will receive automated emails until you make personal contact.

After you have spoken, you can switch the lead to a new group in your sales process and begin an automated series of steps which include direct mail and phone calls. You can log your conversations into your customer notes, and keep track of your appointments in your calendar. You can even schedule follow-up appointments in the same window.

Later, if the customer buys, you can get automatic reminders to check in with the person if you haven't contacted them after a specified length of time. In this way you can encourage them to buy again or answer any questions they have about your product. If you create a special autoresponder series for specific products, you can put your customer in a group and they automatically receive product information.

Oprius - The Good and Bad

Like any CRM software, there are good points and bad. You can easily accept any shortcomings as long as you know what they are before you begin.

The Weak Points of Oprius

  • The opt-in boxes are limited.
    This is probably one of my strongest complaints. The Oprius opt-in boxes look very "Oprius-y" and are not easily modified. If you are techy, you can get the raw code and modify it, but it is not an automatic process.
  • The Contact List has limited filtering and searchability.
    The contact view in Oprius is limited. You can view your contact's name, company, phone and email, but the view does not include addresses. The list is in alphabetical order and you can't resort the list. And you can filter the list by your categories, but you must pre-determine all your categories at the start of your business or face a tedious process of re-categorization.
  • The speed can be slow.
    If you hate watching a page load, this can be annoying.

The Good Features of Oprius

    One of the strongest features of Oprius is that it is everything you need for your customer management in one. You can schedule, email, collect leads, manage your autoresponders and keep notes on all your clients in one place. Your Oprius dashboard is everything you need.   • Relationship manager integrates all your steps into one system.
    If you email, call, direct mail and visit your clients at different times, you can integrate all those different steps into one automatic system.
  • Email manager is intuitive and easy to use.
    If you can type documents in Word, you can easily make professional looking emails.
  • Price.
    Oprius is very affordable.
  • Customer support is superb.
    You will not find better, more responsive customer support anywhere. Your questions will be answered thoroughly by a real person. They get to know your name and will go out of their way to find solutions to all of your questions.

Oprius Review - My Opinion

What is my final opinion?

I think Oprius is an excellent, solid all in one system for contact managment. It has features that you won't find in software double its price. It has very comprehensive functionality and is extremely easy to use. You can't get a better product for small businesses, network marketing businesses, or businesses with a lot of customer contact.
